DECEMBER as usual was extra busy with the holidays and Morton being SO excited about Santa and presents. We hosted Casey's family here in Fort Worth for the Ott Christmas. They were kind enough to drive from the Austin area to come to our home, Casey and I really appreciated it! That was only my second time to cook a "full" holiday dinner and although it was a lot of work I think that Casey and I made a good team!! I did most of the cooking and he did most of the dishes!! This year Dustin and Kelly were with the Campbells so mom and dad came and stayed with us. It wasn't our traditional Christmas but it was perfect in its own way!! The best part was seeing Mortons face light up when he saw his gifts waiting for him!! Everything around our house was/is trains, so when he saw the riding train he went NUTS!!! He rode it all day, LITERALLY ALL DAY, until the battery died around 6:30 that evening. To finish off the month we celebrated New Years Eve with the Spikes in Lampasas and had so much fun. The kids loved feed Big Boy and the other cows and riding around. Morton LOVED the four wheeler and couldn't get enough of it, I'm sure there is one in our future! Morton and Finley are so good together, they either can't get enough playing together or they totally ignore each other! The one thing they both love to do is eat snacks!!! :) It was such a great ending to the year!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
